The Main Stage & HQ is the heartbeat of the Busking Festival!
Set right in the middle of the action at Grand Central Square, outside Vapiano’s, it’s where the sounds of some of Queensland’s best local bands will fill the air throughout the day. It’s also the stage for the Busking Competition Finals at the end of the day!
Festival HQ is your go-to spot for all things busking—this is where performers register, and where audiences can collect their People’s Choice tokens to cast a vote for their favourite busker.
BUSKING COMP
On festival day, the streets of Toowoomba come alive as buskers line Margaret Street, each performing their hearts out for a shot at the Grand Prize. From morning to evening, live music fills the CBD, building anticipation for the Finals, where the top five buskers take the Main Stage to battle it out. And don’t miss the People’s Choice Award winner—chosen by you—who will also get their moment to shine on the big stage!
